Created to diversify and deepen CAMH’s audiences, Champagne & Ribs is an evening of crisp bubbles, delicious barbeque, and saucy live jazz on CAMH’s terrace. This traditionally posh and proper event is finally letting its hair down in its 10th year, trading its usual tents in the May heat for cool October breezes and a relaxed, block-party atmosphere on the front lawn. This refreshed Champagne & Ribs is a chance for Houstonians to take part in after-hours tours with our curators, enjoy jazz and barbeque, and come together as a community at CAMH. In celebration of the event’s 10th anniversary, this year’s special musical guest is the critically-acclaimed jazz group The Robert Glasper Trio.
